The Susan Smith Blackburn Prize-Winning play Cold War Choir Practice by Ro Reddick, with original music by Ro Reddick has closed and will be missed! It was directed by Knud Adams, and was produced by Clubbed Thumb, P73, and MCC.
Bio:
Crystal has performed in world premiere plays on and off broadway, most recently in Cold War Choir Practice by Ro Reddick, Deep Blue Sound by Abe Koogler, and Birthday Candles by Noah Haidle. She is an affiliated artist with Clubbed Thumb Theater where she has developed and performed in dozens of new works including two iterations of Will Arbery’s Plano, and her own play Find Me Here. She was a semi-finalist for the Clubbed Thumb Biennial Comission, a member of the early career writer’s group, and a playwright in the Clubbed Thumb directing fellowship for Winterworks. She recently collaborated with Fiasco Theater on her play The Stand In and is currently writing a commissioned play for the Fiasco ensemble. She is a recipient of the NYSCA Arts Grant, a Theater World Award, and a nominee for the Lucille Lortel award for best featured performer for Cold War Choir Practice. Crystal has written about theater and motherhood for American Theater Magazine and moonlights occasionally as a performer with The Moth. She is originally from Grass Valley, California.
